Fishing Shack

For fly-fishing enthusiasts looking to get away from it all with a couple of days on a pretty chalk stream casting for wild trout, the fishing shack, 30m from the banks of the River Allen, offers a rustic, off-grid angler's hide-out. The shack has a twin bunk bed, basic kitchen with gas hob, WC (but no shower), fire pit and BBQ. In the evening you can kick back on a rocking chair on the verandah and contemplate the stars. The shack has solar-powered lighting and phone-charging dock (USB or car), but if you're caught short for anything the town centre of Wimborne is only a few minutes’ walk, so it's the best of both worlds. Although we have a 'catch and release' rule for day fishermen, Shack guests may take two fish for the BBQ. Perfect for two fishing chums or father-and-son expeditions.
